My name is Austin Jackson. Im 13 years old. I was born in Semi Valley California and I now live in Castle Rock Colorado. I got intersted in animation when I was about 10 when I had first seen the movie Monsters Inc. . I got in touch with the head of Denver Universitys Grafics Department. He told me that for a beginner animatior I should try a proggramm called 3ds Max the very simple version, 1 or 2. Then as I began getting more intersted in the subject I upgraded and got Carrara 1. This proggramm had a very wide range of diffrent features. Then as I still learned I upgraded to Carrara 3.0 . This proggramm really got me started off in the animation area. I first made a french alien (seen in the images area) called Jacques Cinq. Jacq was my really first test model for my animation. I made him do series of actions such as, bouncing, gliding, bouncing on pogo sticks, making simple lip motions and going through obtical cources. Now I am working on a short (seen in my shorts area) with my friend Josh who is an excellent drawer. We just started the short and I just made a simple test model to get the timing right. The test model is named charley seen in the images area and on the home page.

The word "Smilee" comes from the word smiley but instead of the "Y" its an "E". I used this word to make every one cheer up in 6th grade. Since it was such a fun thing I decided well animation is fun thats what Im going to call my orginization.
